Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said a total of ₹13,109.17 crore has been recovered from assets sale of defaulters Nirav Modi, Vijay Mallya and Mehul Choksi, as of July. She said ₹792 crore was also realised from sale of assets belonging to Mallya and others. PSBs recovered ₹5.49 lakh crore through resolution of bad loans in last seven years, she added.
