Pune-based actress Ishwari Deshpande, 25, and her friend Shubham Dedge, 28, died after the car they were travelling in fell into a creek in Goa's Arpora area in the early hours of Monday. Supreme Court stayed an order of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission directing Yash Raj Films (YRF) to pay ₹15,000 to a Maharashtra teacher who felt cheated because the song 'Jabra Fan' was edited out of 'Fan'. The bench, however, questioned YRF for marketing the film with the song that was excluded. The teacher had filed a complaint in 2016.
