B’desh awaits India’s response on Tarique Rahman's Delhi visit: Report

Bangladesh is awaiting India's response to Dhaka's request for a "propitious environment" for PM Tarique Rahman's possible visit to New Delhi. Dhaka is also seeking clarity on India's position regarding former PM Sheikh Hasina's extradition before proceeding with the proposed visit. Hasina arrived in India on August 5, 2024 after leaving Bangladesh amid a mass student uprising.
