India Post launches 1st drone mail delivery in Assam, plans 150 routes

India Post launched its first drone mail delivery in Assam, delivering letters and parcels to remote areas. The government-owned postal system, which has partnered with Skye Air Mobility, will launch 110 routes across Himachal Pradesh and 40 routes across Assam. The drones can carry up to 10 kg and can fly over a range of 5 km to 80 km.
