Eating 100 grams more ultra-processed food daily may raise heart risk by 14%: Study
A new study has found that every additional 100 grams of ultra-processed food consumed per day was associated with 14% higher risk of cardiovascular events. Researchers also found that every additional 100 grams per day was associated with 4% higher risk of cancer, 3% higher risk of death from any cause and 2% higher risk of metabolic syndrome or diabetes.
