Rajasthan's tiger population has risen to 149 across its five tiger reserves, with Ranthambore housing 72 of them, officials said ahead of International Tiger Day. Chief Wildlife Warden KC Arun Prasad said 54 tigresses gave birth to 153 cubs this year, with Sariska recording the highest 28 births. Experts said the increase reflects healthier forests in the state.
