An ITI student, Monu, who was working as an intern at the Sector 8 police station in Faridabad allegedly stole 32 licensed weapons and sold them in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Police arrested Monu along with 19 others and also recovered all the stolen weapons. A police official was also suspended, and a departmental enquiry is underway against him.
