Ladakh sends notice to Sonam Wangchuk's school to stop classes

Ladakh administration issued a notice to Sonam Wangchuk's Himalayan Institute of Alternatives (HIAL), asking it to stop classes and other activities at Desert Flower School in Leh. The administration alleged that the school began functioning without necessary clearances. This comes as HIAL is fighting a case against the administration's 2025 decision to cancel the land allotted to the institute.
