How 'frozen-screen' UPI scam can drain your bank account?

Fraudsters have resorted to 'frozen-screen' UPI scam, wherein after clicking an unfamiliar link, a phone's screen freezes, appearing to be technical glitch. In a moment of panic, victims get convinced that there's a problem with their phone or UPI account. When persuaded to download a reboot app, they may end up giving access to notifications, SMS messages and accessibility features.
