Why are Indian aluminium stocks trading at losses of up to 6%?

Shares of National Aluminium Company, Hindalco and Vedanta Aluminium fell up to 6% in early trade on Friday. The weakness followed a fall in global aluminium prices as supply shortage concerns eased after Emirates Global Aluminium said it plans to restore production. London Metal Exchange prices declined for a second consecutive session, while Norsk Hydro’s Alunorte ramped up production.
