Police have registered a suo moto FIR against an unidentified woman in Bengaluru for allegedly displaying poster supporting Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam during a NEET paper leak protest. The FIR accused her of displaying "provocative placards with intention of inciting unrest and disturbing public peace". Sharjeel and Umar are in jail in connection with 2020 Delhi riots case.
