Maharashtra Cyber Dept arrests man in ₹4.97 lakh stock fraud

Maharashtra Cyber Department arrested 23-year-old Mohammed Ali Kapadia on October 26 for allegedly receiving and disposing cash from an online stock market fraud worth ₹4.97 lakh. The victim, a Kalyan resident, was lured via WhatsApp and a fake trading app between August–September. Police traced funds through multiple accounts and a probe is ongoing to identify other suspects.
