Taiwan to launch subsidised investment accounts for kids: Report

Taiwan is preparing to launch government-subsidised investment accounts for children aged six to eighteen, Bloomberg reported. The initiative is part of an 18-measure package announced by President Lai Ching-te's administration to boost family support and address the country's declining birth rate. The earlier savings scheme was limited to youths from low- and middle-income households.
