3 dogs die in mass poisoning in Pune's Pimpri

A mass dog poisoning incident took place at Mahindra Antheia Society in Pimpri, where 11 dogs were fed poisoned food. Three of them have died, and others are in critical condition. A case has been filed at Sant Tukaram Nagar Police Station against unidentified individuals. Animal activist Padmini Stump expressed outrage and called for justice for the "murdered voiceless victims."

Gold reclaims its all-time high, silver jumps ₹2,500

Gold prices rose by ₹50 to reclaim the all-time high level of ₹96,450 per 10 grams in Delhi on Tuesday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. On Monday, the yellow metal of 99.9% purity had fallen by ₹50 to settle at ₹96,400 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices climbed by ₹2,500 to ₹97,500 per kg.

ED files complaint against Sonia & Rahul in National Herald money laundering case

India's retail inflation falls to 3.34%, lowest y-o-y inflation after August 2019

India's year-on-year inflation rate based on the All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2025 over March 2024 stood at 3.34%, the government said on Tuesday. There is a decline of 27 basis points in the headline inflation of March 2025 in comparison to February 2025. It is the lowest year-on-year inflation after August 2019, the government added.

Fingerprints of accused in Saif stabbing case not found in actor's flat, says chargesheet

The chargesheet in Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has revealed that the fingerprint samples collected from inside his Mumbai flat did not match with that of the accused Shariful Islam. Nearly ⁠20 samples were sent, of which 19 did not match, according to News18. The only fingerprint that matched with the accused was the one recovered from the eighth floor.

Type 5 diabetes is malnutrition-related diabetes that typically affects lean, malnourished teens and young adults in low- and middle-income countries.
