Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said, "The government under the leadership of the Chief Minister is preparing to introduce a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Rajasthan." He added, "The proposed UCC will cover aspects like marriage, divorce, adoption, and inheritance, applying uniformly across the state." Notably, only Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Assam have passed UCC Bills so far.
