A court in Myanmar on Thursday sentenced three celebrities to three years in jail each for allegedly supporting pro-democracy protests following the military coup. Actor couple Pyay Ti Oo and Eaindra Kyaw Zin and actor Lu Min were reportedly charged with spreading dissent and sentenced to hard labour. Over 11,000 people have been arrested in crackdown on protests since coup.
