Ashneer Grover calls UPI charges govt's 'most stupid' move

Ashneer Grover again criticised imposition of MDR on UPI transactions over ₹2,000, saying, "I've never seen anything more stupid than this from the government." He expressed concerns over merchants' thin margins and questioned why ₹1 lakh sent to friends is free but ₹2,500 paid to merchants isn't. "If nobody is making loss, why...ask small shopkeepers to bear costs?" Grover added.
