More than 70 mine workers were killed by unknown gunmen at a gold mining site on the outskirts of South Sudan's capital Juba over the weekend, police said on Monday. The incident occurred in Jebel Iraq area, which is controlled by army, over a gold mining row. The site has previously witnessed violent clashes between illegal miners and mining companies.
