Ship with Chinese crew sinks near India

A Panama-flagged cargo ship with 24 crew members, most of whom were Chinese, sank in the Bay of Bengal, about 444 km from Odisha's coast. The Singapore-bound ship, carrying iron ore from Odisha, made the distress call at 11:48 am. The Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy launched rescue operations, and two crew members were rescued at 8:00 pm.
