Niren Bhatt, one of the writers of 'Satluj', reacted to the reports that the film was taken down over fears of it being used by 'anti-India' elements as propaganda. "That argument simply doesn't hold," he said, adding, "If The Kashmir Files [and]...The Kerala Story can exist...Why is our film the chosen one that will suddenly be misused by extreme elements?"
