US citizen Matthew VanDyke, arrested by the NIA for allegedly plotting anti-India terror activities, had used India as a transit route to enter Myanmar in 2025 as well, ThePrint reported. He was arrested along with six Ukrainians for allegedly conducting pre-scheduled training for Myanmar-based Ethnic Armed Groups. They were reportedly training members of the Kuki-Chin Army in drone warfare.
