BJP MLA Anupma Jaiswal's husband Ashok praised SP president Akhilesh Yadav for visiting her in the hospital, calling it a gesture of "human sensitivity and democratic courtesy". Akhilesh visited Anupma on Tuesday after she was injured while burning his effigy during a protest. Jaiswal was protesting after the Opposition defeated amendment to fast-track the Women's Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha.
