Saudi discovers 110 million tonnes of uranium ore in Medina

Saudi Arabia has discovered 110 million tonnes of raw materials containing uranium concentrations and other rare earths in Medina. This discovery comes at a critical time for the kingdom, which houses two of Islam's holiest sites, Mecca and Medina. The country has faced Iranian attacks over hosting US bases, while Yemen’s Houthi militia has disrupted its access to Red Sea.
