Airlines ask govt for relaxation in pilot rest rules weeks after IndiGo crisis: Report

At least four airlines, which cater to 95% of passengers in India, have asked the government to relax the new pilot rest rules, arguing that the policy is "unsustainable in the long run", HT reported. This comes weeks after hundreds of IndiGo flights were cancelled after the airline failed to implement the new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) regulations.
