India adds 405 defence items to 'make at home' list, eyes ₹3,070-cr business potential

Defence Ministry notified 405 strategically important defence items to be indigenised through Defence PSUs and the Indian Coast Guard, with industry participation. The list covers equipment, systems, components and spares linked to platforms like Su-30MKI jet, MRSAM missile system and warships. The government seeks to reduce import dependence, with an estimated business potential of ₹3,070 crore.
