Israeli military sent US universities $15 mn for weapons research

The Israeli Ministry of Defence and Israeli defence companies provided more than $15 million to US universities for weapons-related research, according to a report. Some of the funding was either missing from or inconsistently recorded in federal databases tracking foreign support. The investigation identified ties involving prominent universities, including Columbia, Cornell and Harvard.
