US' Dow Jones falls by 692 points due to Iran war, Canada tariffs
US' Dow Jones index fell over 692 points intraday on Tuesday and remained around 550 points in the red at the time of reporting. This comes after oil prices surged near $100/barrel due to escalation in the US-Iran war and Iran-backed Houthis attacking energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Canada's tariffs on US goods worth $20 billion came into effect.
