Chinese suspect used AI tools to hack S. Korean banks: Report

CrowdStrike identified a 26-year-old from China's Guangdong province as the likely suspect behind cyberattacks on South Korean banks, Crowdstrike reported. The attacker used Chinese AI penetration tool ARTEX and Anthropic's Claude to breach at least nine banks since late September, compromising data of thousands of customers including 25,000 from Shinhan Bank.
