Oxford student backs India's NEP 2020 at UN Rights Council

William McEwen-Benatar, an Oxford student with Akshar Foundation, praised India's NEP 2020 at the UN Human Rights Council's 63rd Session in Geneva. He urged member states to decolonise national curricula, prioritise mother-tongue instruction, and integrate indigenous knowledge, calling educational decolonisation a human rights necessity, not just a theoretical ideal.
