India's sugar industry has renewed its demand for a dual pricing system, saying industrial users account for 60-65% of consumption but pay the same rates as retail buyers, CNBC reported. National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited MD Prakash Naiknavare said separate pricing could improve mill revenues. He also urged higher sugar and ethanol prices and stronger policy support.
