Nirav Modi ordered to pay over ₹100 crore to Bank of India by London court

A London court has ruled in favour of Bank of India in its recovery proceedings against fugitive businessman Nirav Modi. It has directed him to pay over $10.7 million (over ₹100 crore) under a personal guarantee tied to loan issued to a Dubai-based Firestar Group company. Nirav Modi is currently lodged in a London prison and contesting extradition to India.
