Delhi mandates domestic help agency registration; ₹50,000 fine for violators

The Delhi government has ordered all private placement agencies providing domestic workers to register on the e-District portal and obtain a licence within 15 days. Non-compliance invites a ₹50,000 penalty, cancellation of registration, and prosecution. Employers are also advised to hire only from registered agencies and ensure police verification of workers.
