India's Sarvesh Kushare bagged silver medal in men's high jump at Asian Games 2026, ending the country's 56-year wait for a podium in the event. Sarvesh cleared 2.25 metres to bag the silver medal. India's previous men's medal in the event at Asian Games came when Bhim Singh won bronze at Bangkok 1970 after clearing 2.03 metres.
