SEBI to issue AI tool guidelines, advise use of 'kill switch' safeguard

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the regulator will soon issue guidelines for responsible use of AI-based tools adopted by market participants. "The framework shall require kill switch and humans in the loop controls," he added. Pandey further said every SEBI-regulated entity is "fully responsible" for any AI and machine learning tools they use, irrespective of where it comes from.
