The Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors (Central MARD) on Thursday withdrew its statewide indefinite agitation following directives from Bombay High Court. The strike was launched to protest against a policy allowing homoeopathy practitioners to prescribe modern medicine after a bridge course. Resident doctors resumed routine medical services across all state government hospitals.
