An auto driver and his accomplice assaulted 29-year-old Varun C before robbing him near Bengaluru's Nayandahalli. The driver approached Varun and passed aggressive comments before asking him to get inside the auto. The driver and his accomplice dragged Varun and punched him after he refused. They then forced him to unlock his phone and transferred ₹24,000 using a QR code.
