Italy's Naples jolted by strongest earthquake in 40 years

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Italy's Naples and nearby areas on Thursday, marking the strongest tremor to hit the city in 40 years, authorities said. The shallow quake, at a depth of three kilometers near Pozzuoli town, sent panicked residents into the streets and caused power outages in some areas. At least two aftershocks followed, raising fears of further seismic activity.
