MI face backlash over appointment of Kasab mercy petition signatory Zubin Bharucha

Mumbai Indians (MI) are facing boycott calls on social media after appointing Zubin Bharucha as Director of Performance. Bharucha was among the signatories to a 2012 mercy petition urging then-President Pranab Mukherjee to commute 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab's death sentence to life imprisonment. Several users criticised MI for appointing Zubin over the petition.
