Microsoft employees reveal their monthly AI spend, highest at ₹26 lakh

Hundreds of Microsoft employees voluntarily shared their monthly AI usage costs in an internal spreadsheet seen by Business Insider. While the median monthly spend was around $300, one employee in Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions reported the highest cost at $28,000 (around ₹26 lakh). Employees used an internal tracking tool to calculate their AI usage costs.
