IMD has forecast heatwave conditions across most districts of Uttar Pradesh on May 26 and 27. Relief is likely from May 28 as a Western Disturbance is expected to trigger rain and thunderstorms across the state. IMD has also warned of dust storms with winds of 50-60 kmph and predicted a sharp drop of 6-8°C in temperatures till May 31.
