Abu Dhabi Knight Riders openers Phil Salt and Michael Pepper on Sunday recorded the highest opening partnership in ILT20 history. The duo shared a stand of 131 runs in 15 overs against Gulf Giants. The previous record was held by Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Johnson Charles, who shared a 123-run stand for Sharjah Warriorz against Dubai Capitals in ILT20 2024/25.
