CEC Gyanesh Kumar advised me to contest LS polls on BJP ticket: Ex-Keralam Chief Secy

Ex-Keralam Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson has claimed that CEC Gyanesh Kumar advised him to contest 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Thomson said Kumar asked about his plans after retirement, to which he replied that he had no plans. Kumar then advised him to contest as a BJP candidate. The statement comes amid reports of differences within the poll body over SIR.
