The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed actress Jacqueline Fernandez to withdraw her plea challenging charges framed against her in ₹200-crore money laundering case linked to Sukesh Chandrashekhar. A bench of Justices BV Nagarathna and Joymalya Bagchi granted her liberty to seek other remedies. Fernandez, who has pleaded not guilty, will face trial. The next hearing is scheduled for July 16.
