What charges did Canara Bank hike as it made ATM transactions costlier?

Canara Bank revised ATM transaction charges from September 1, reducing free transactions at its own ATMs to five from six per month. It also raised cash withdrawal and UPI cash withdrawal charges to ₹23+GST/transaction from ₹20+GST/transaction. The charge for ATM transactions declined due to insufficient funds has been raised to ₹23+GST from ₹17+GST after the free transaction limit is crossed.
