Asish Banerjee, the former Deputy Speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, was found dead at the TMC office in Rampurhat city of Birbhum district on Sunday, police said. His body was recovered hanging inside the party office adjacent to his residence. The five-time TMC MLA Asish served as deputy speaker when the party's supremo Mamata Banerjee was the CM.
